THE CALL
During a time of prayer, Pastor Pradeepan heard the Lord speak to him in a dream about planting a Church on the Eastside of Seattle. After scouting the area, talking with mentors, local pastors and the launch team, the decision to move to Bellevue was made.
Plus, it doesn’t hurt that it’s surrounded by oceans and mountains.
THE NEED
The Seattle area is one of the most unchurched regions in America
- Approximately 90% of the population does not regularly attend church of any kind
- Highest percentage of people in the U.S. who claim “none’ for religious affiliation
- People here are on a spiritual journey, and it would be our honor to offer others what was offered to us
THE OPPORTUNITY
Bellevue is thriving in population and business growth. In the last five years, the median age has changed from 57 to 34. With more than 30% born out of country, it is now the largest majority-minority city in Washington. This city is filled with transplants, immigrants and locals who are looking for a purpose to believe in and a people to belong to. We believe that as we make known the beauty of Jesus, people will find exactly that. We believe something amazing is already taking place here and we want to be part of it.
