Kalos Serve Week

Kalos Serve Week is coming!
During Kalos Serve Week, small groups, families, and individuals will participate in outreach projects to care for and serve communities across our entire region. Last season, we met our goal to give 500 kids Christmas stockings full of Christmas treats and gifts! This season we will make 1000 snack packs for Bellevue students and bless 250 Seattle families with Spring Goodie Bags full of snacks and activities to keep them nourished and entertained during their spring breaks. You can help by bringing snacks and activities like stickers, crayons, or coloring books to our Spring Donation Drive on Sunday, March 15.

Here is a wishlist provided by the organizations we partner with:

• Salty snacks- pretzels, Goldfish, etc.

• Sweet snacks- individual, shelf-stable sweets like candy, cookies, Rice Krispy Treats etc.

• Nourishing snacks- GoGo Squeez Yogurtz, applesauce pouches, granola bars, meat sticks

• Drinks- 100% fruit juice, Honest juice, shelf-stable milk

• Gifts and activities- lotion, chapstick, markers, full-sized coloring books, stickers, sticker activities, playdough

• Gift cards of any denomination

In addition to snack packs and Spring Break goodie bags, Kalos Small Groups will be creating Mother’s Day baskets for mothers experiencing housing and food insecurities.
