We want you to know that there is a Leadership Structure at Kalos that ensures we are being good stewards of what God has entrusted us with! This page also includes information about our Dream Team departments. If you are interested, we would love to have you on the team! Our church is built on the sacrifices of many, not the talents of few. Ultimately, not only are we called to serve to help make known the Beauty of Jesus in the world, but often serving it is a source of much enrichment in our lives and in our friendships.

KIDS

Kalos Kids believes children aren’t just the future of the church, they are the church! Jesus brings such dignity and value to children in the scriptures and it is our goal to make known the beauty of Jesus to children in our community. We offer classes for children age 6 months to grade 5. Our classes include vibrant teachers who love making scripture come alive to kids, engaging Bible teaching and worship, in addition to prayer. We believe children can experience God’s love in profound ways and we love to surround them and their families in prayer.

There are several roles that our Kids department is made up of that we would love for adults to get involved in:

  • Lead Teachers

  • Teachers

  • Kids Check-in

  • Kids Set-up/Tear-down

  • Kids Service Director

Please contact Amy Carlsen for more information at: kids@kalos.church

CONNECTIONS

If you want people to feel welcome and well-connected at Kalos, we could use your help!

We’ve all been to a new place for the first time. Not knowing anyone or feeling out of place can feel so intimidating! Even after that first time, it is still easy to feel like you’re not known. Many people don’t have any community they can turn to.

This is why the connections team exists. We aren’t meant to do life alone. We aren’t meant to carry the weight of our burden by ourselves. No matter what a person’s demographic, social status, of set of personal beliefs is, we believe that God loves them. Our goal is to model our love for others after the way He loves us!

If you share our passion for building a great community in our church, please talk to us about joining the Connections team.

Commitment:

  • Love People!

  • Time: Sundays 8am-1:30pm (schedules vary)

  • Connect with first-time guests outside of service and build genuine relationships

  • Attend Kalos Church and align with our vision

  • Do life with us!

PRODUCTION

We express the beauty of Jesus through the arts of music, lights, sound, and media. It’s amazing to see unity through the rhythm and melody of music - everyone singing the exact same thing at the same time to the same God for the same reason. We believe that the best music Bellevue has to offer should be offered to Jesus. That’s why we always strive for passion, unity, and excellence in everything we do.

Commitment:

  1. Commit to our core values of passion, unity, and excellence

  2. Band rehearsals (only required for weeks you’re scheduled) on Thursday evenings 6:30-8:30

  3. Sunday mornings call time 8am. Tear down is usually done by 1pm.

OPERATIONS

Our operations team is looking for people who want to be a part of transforming our venue into Kalos Church every Sunday.

How does this team change a comedy club into a space filled with enough chairs, coffee, and sound equipment to fully enable the worship and teachings of Jesus?

7:30am. A commercial size truck backs up to the loading dock, and gear is unloaded and brought into our venue. Friends catch up with one another as the stage is set up, connections cards are put on chairs, communion packets are set out, and more. The volunteer lounge is set up and filled with snacks for those who serve. Put simply, the Operations Team works behind the scenes to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

Roles include transportation, setup/teardown, volunteer lounge, and security.

Commitment: Sundays 8:30am-1:30pm (time commitment varies based on role)
