WHAT IS THE LAUNCH TEAM?

We are looking for people who are interested in making known the beauty of Jesus in Bellevue with us. 

The launch team is made of individuals who are committed to help Kalos Church launch.  We are planning on having our first service in the fall of 2017. In order for that to happen, we are looking for people to help us with different areas of ministry, recruit others to be part of our church, and develop this brand new church plant endeavor with us.

How do I become part of or express interest in the Launch Team? 

If you want to be part of the Launch Team or simply learn more, please fill out this form, and we will contact with you. Whether you are from the Seattle area, Michigan or another place entirely, we'd love to talk and see how the dream of Kalos Church and your dreams collide. 

What are the expectations for Launch Team Members?

Being part of the Launch Team isn't too complicated. For all of us to effectively move forward, we ask that Launch Team members follow three simple steps.

1. Attend (July 16 - February 18)

Join our Launch Team meetings and services. Launch team meetings are designed to make relationships, equip us in church planting, learn the culture, pray, and receive training to effectively minister in this area. Secondly, join our Kalos Church services after Launch until February 18. At the end of the Launch Team committment, you can choose to stay with Kalos Church or leave as we celebrate you!

This is the schedule as planned:

Launch Team Meetings (8 weeks):

July 16, 23, 30.  August 6, 13, 20, 27.  September 3, 10. 

Church plants typically start really large on the first Sunday and shrink in half by the next week. After that, churches usually decline for the next 12 weeks until they bottom out. Our Launch Team will help us move forward with strength as we face these challenges.

2. Align

We ask that Launch Team members align with our vision, mission, and culture. In order for us to launch well, we need to be people who are walking in the same direction. We don't require uniformity, but we need unity to move forward effectively. You might still be exploring faith and that's okay--we still want you as you join in making this Kalos dream a reality.  

3. Assist

You've got amazing gifts, and we have a lot of work to do and many places to serve. Joining the Launch Team means you are committed to help us in practical ways. While we aren't guaranteeing any specific titles, we are looking for people to fill roles that will help us have life-giving music, hospitality, ministry for children, media, small groups and gatherings.
